Ravening Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing

Above is a window at the London School of Economics, it was commissioned by Bernard Shaw in 1910 in reference to the Fabian Society.

This was an organization created in the 1800s to subvert the existing order and create a Socialist world government that they would control.

Take note their coat of arms:

That’s not a joke, that’s the actual coat of arms so that should tell you something about what team these guys are playing for.

Jesus warned us about people promoting evil things under the banner of innocence and purity.

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

3 Nephi 14:15

Many, many other scriptures warn against being deceived by people with hidden motives and subversive agendas.

For there are many yet on the earth among all sects, parties, and denominations, who are blinded by the subtle craftiness of men, whereby they lie in wait to deceive, and who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it

D&C 123:12

Behold, verily, thus saith the Lord unto you: In consequence of evils and designs which do and will exist in the hearts of conspiring men in the last days, I have warned you, and forewarn you…

D&C 89:4

There are many groups and organizations today that have underlying destructive intentions that masquerade under the banner of positive ideas and slogans.

If anyone dares to point out the wolf underneath, they are immediately met with objections, “What, so you are a sheep-hater?” This is why the wolf in sheep’s clothing is such an accurate metaphor and an effective tactic.

If you only look at the surface, all you will see is the sheep, but few people look deeper. Those that do are blamed for attacking a positive message – which is all by design.

The average person that jumps on board with these feel-good messages and waves the flag or posts in support think that they are doing a good thing. After joining in and signaling their virtue, they feel validated.

After all, nobody likes a crowd in a great and spacious building pointing the finger at them and mocking incessantly. People like to feel that sense of belonging and maybe even think the mockers have a point so they join in. They wear the fine apparel of popular opinion and the fingers point elsewhere.

But they have simply made things worse; they are simply giving more validation to the wolf and his disguise. The wolf is then more free to continue his agenda unmolested.

How Wolves Operate

These tactics can be observed all over the media today and most prominently in the Pride and Black Lives Matter movements. They both proclaim love, inclusivity, acceptance, tolerance, etc. This is the sheepskin, but you have to look deeper to find the wolf.

In a 1987 article titled The Overhauling of Straight America by Marshall K. Kirk and Erastes Pill a plan to normalize homosexual behavior in American society is outlined. Note the tactics that are outlined and how the camel in the tent and Trojan horse metaphors are used:

Instead, the imagery of sex should be downplayed and gay rights should be reduced to an abstract social question as much as possible. First let the camel get his nose inside the tent–only later his unsightly derriere!

The average American household watches over seven hours of TV daily. Those hours open up a gateway into the private world of straights, through which a Trojan horse might be passed.

In 1900, a book titled After the Ball — How America will conquer its fear and hatred of Gays in the 1990s was published. Much of what we see happening today appears to be these tactics being heavily utilized.

Fast-forward to 2020 and we can see that these exact things are coming to pass:

The usage of multi-colored rainbow-like flags, slogans, celebrities, social media posts, holidays, and other tools are used as part of this “planned psychological attack…via media.”

Alan Bullock, a British historian points out what the true objective of propaganda is, and this is very important to understand to not be deceived by it today.

No one understood better than Stalin that the true object of propaganda is neither to convince nor even to persuade, but to produce a uniform pattern of public utterance in which the first trace of unorthodox thought immediately reveals itself as a jarring dissonance.

We see this today with the “cancel culture” and banning of people from social media platforms and the recreational outrage expressed at anything that even comes close to or resembles an unorthodox thought.

We see the same thing with Black Lives Matter which was founded by two Marxists. Journalist Thurston Powers points out: “BLM has simply substituted Marx’s class conflict between the proletariat and bourgeoisie for class conflict between blackness and whiteness.” [Source]

Patrisse Cullors, co-founder of Black Lives Matter said, on video:

The first thing, I think, is that we actually do have an ideological frame. Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers. We are trained Marxists. We are super-versed on, sort of, ideological theories.

Many well-meaning people, even many among the Saints, post rainbows on social media and even posted a black square on “Black out Tuesday.”

The family is central to God’s plan for all of us.

…marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator’s plan for the eternal destiny of His children.

The Family: A Proclamation to the World

The family consisting of a husband and wife in marriage is why the earth was created in the first place according to the Lord:

And again, verily I say unto you, that whoso forbiddeth to marry is not ordained of God, for marriage is ordained of God unto man. Wherefore, it is lawful that he should have one wife, and they twain shall be one flesh, and all this that the earth might answer the end of its creation; And that it might be filled with the measure of man, according to his creation before the world was made.

D&C 49:15-17

What many of these movements have in common is to disrupt the family unit which would result in destroying the purposes of creation. The Black Lives Matter website openly declares:

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

The disruption of the nuclear family is a key objective of Marxism and remember, the founders of BLM are in their own words, “trained Marxists.”

David Solway of American Thinker explains:

The dissolution or misprision of marriage, as a contract between a man and a woman committed to raising a family and recognizing its attendant responsibilities, is a prerequisite for the revolutionary socialist state in which the pivotal loyalty of the individual belongs to the sovereign collective, not to the family.

Richard Weikart, professor of history at California State University explained that Karl Marx was all about the destruction of the family:

While Marx once alluded to a higher form of the family in communist society, he and Engels usually wrote about the destruction, dissolution, and abolition of the family. The relationships they envisaged for communist society would have little or no resemblance to the family as it existed in nineteenth-century Europe or indeed anywhere else. Thus it is certainly appropriate to define their position as the abolition of the family. Only by making the term family almost infinitely elastic can they be said to have embraced merely a reformulation of the family.

BLM’s desire to disrupt the nuclear family and create “‘villages’ that collectively care for one another” sounds a lot like Charles Fourier’s ideas that Karl Marx was exposed to in France; Weikart explains:

Fourier advocated the replacement of monogamous marriage with a system allowing much greater latitude for sexual passions, since he believed that monogamy was an institution contrary to human nature and was thus an impediment to human happiness. He also proposed that children be raised communally, so society would be one, big, harmonious family rather than fractured into competitive, squabbling family units

Moroni prophesied that in the last days there would be a great secret combination that would seek to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries and it is indeed among us even now:

Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you; or wo be unto it, because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who built it up.

For it cometh to pass that whoso buildeth it up seeketh to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries; and it bringeth to pass the destruction of all people, for it is built up by the devil, who is the father of all lies;

Ether 8:24-25

This is why homosexuality, trans, and queer issues are mentioned so many times on the BLM What We Believe page.

Those who build up these causes help to create the tools to cause the “disruption” and dissolution of the family so that they will be one step closer to creating their communist state and new world order.

The Book of Mormon gives us examples of two entire nations that were eventually destroyed by these exact things as a warning to us not to repeat the past.

Useful Idiots

Often attributed to Vladimir Lenin, the term “Useful Idiots” was coined in the cold-war era to describe people who rally to support a cause without understanding the ulterior motives. In other words, people that rally to support the sheepskin and don’t perceive the wolf underneath.

Don’t be a useful idiot.

Make no mistake, the wolf only succeeds in his deception because of useful idiots that blindly validate his disguise. When you share his messages, wear his symbols, and get into the shaming of others who question him, you are doing his work.

This has happened all throughout history and it seems like we have not learned as a people to think critically enough to avoid this. A great example of this is what happened among the Nephites:

And it came to pass that the Lamanites did hunt the band of robbers of Gadianton; and they did preach the word of God among the more wicked part of them, insomuch that this band of robbers was utterly destroyed from among the Lamanites.

And it came to pass on the other hand, that the Nephites did build them up and support them, beginning at the more wicked part of them, until they had overspread all the land of the Nephites, and had seduced the more part of the righteous until they had come down to believe in their works and partake of their spoils, and to join with them in their secret murders and combinations.

And thus they did obtain the sole management of the government, insomuch that they did trample under their feet and smite and rend and turn their backs upon the poor and the meek, and the humble followers of God.

Helaman 6:37-39

This same pattern is happening right now, this very minute, and if you will take a second to open your eyes, you will see it clearly.

Take the time to critically examine any ideology that arises and trace the ideas back to their roots. Ask yourself, “Where does this idea come from?” and investigate the ideologies of the movement pushing behind the idea.

Our Real Enemy

Way back in 1830, the Book of Mormon was published and many read these words for the first time:

…he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.

2 Nephi 26:33

Like many of the other words of scripture, they take a long time to sink in; for many, they never do. Long before that, Jesus was teaching that the two great commandments were to love God and your neighbor as yourself.

This is the sheep, the good stuff, the things that most people deep down admire and aspire to. The wolf slays the sheep and parades around in this skin, but for his own purposes, not for the purpose of glorifying God and seeking to fulfill his plan.

I only listed two of the most prominent, vocal, and successful movements as examples of the many others that are built upon false ideologies that continue the war in heaven, delay Zion, and ultimately draw people away from the glory that God intends for them.

The people in these movements, the promoters, the adherents, or the followers are not our enemies though, they are our brothers and sisters and children of almighty God.

Our enemy is well-known and I think President Joseph Fielding Smith had the most sobering language to describe our current state:

Satan has control now. No matter where you look, he is in control, even in our own land. He is guiding the governments as far as the Lord will permit him. That is why there is so much strife, turmoil, and confusion all over the earth. One master mind is governing the nations. It is not the president of the United States; it is not Hitler; it is not Mussolini; [Biden or Trump] it is not the king or government of England or any other land; it is Satan himself.

Peter Kreeft in addressing this very point said that to conquer Satan and his ideologies:

All it takes is saints. Can you imagine what twelve more Mother Teresas would do for the world? Can you imagine what would happen if just twelve readers of this article offered Christ 100% of their hearts and held back nothing, absolutely nothing? No, you can’t imagine it, any more than anyone could imagine how twelve nice Jewish boys could conquer the Roman Empire. You can’t imagine it, but you can do it. You can become a saint. Absolutely no one and nothing can stop you. It is your free choice. Here is one of the truest and most terrifying sentences I have ever read (from William Law’s Serious Call): “If you will look into your own heart in complete honesty, you must admit that there is one and only one reason why you are not a saint: you do not wholly want to be.” That insight is terrifying because it is an indictment. But it is also thrillingly hopeful because it is an offer, an open door. Each of us can become a saint. We really can. What holds us back? Fear of paying the price. What is the price? The answer is simple. T.S. Eliot defines the Christian life as: “A condition of complete simplicity/Costing not less than/Everything.” The price is everything: 100%. A worse martyrdom than the quick noose or stake: the martyrdom of dying daily, dying to all your desires and plans, including your plans about how to become a saint. A blank check to God. Complete submission, “islam,” “fiat”—Mary’s thing. Look what that simple Mary-thing did 2000 years ago: It brought God down and saved the world.

How to win the culture war

My initial inspiration for writing this post and being so specific were the verses right after D&C 123:12

Therefore, that we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness, wherein we know them; and they are truly manifest from heaven—These should then be attended to with great earnestness. Let no man count them as small things; for there is much which lieth in futurity, pertaining to the saints, which depends upon these things.

D&C 123:13-15

The ravening wolves are out and they need to be exposed.
