I like this, and I understand what your getting at here. I wish sometimes that I had a timeline. To go along with the dream of Denver Snuffer, waiting on the Lord at the bottom of the mountain can be trying at times. Sometimes I wish I had a timeline! But then where would the faith be in that?
I’ve thought a lot about having a “timeline” of life and knowing the future. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’d rather not know! Life is so weird and takes such crazy twists and turns. If someone told you the future, would you believe it? Would you accept it?
I think life prepares you to accept the future. We’re just so impatient but I don’t think we comprehend the implications of what we are asking for sometimes. I often get impatient but I have to remind myself of this from time to time. Finding meaning in the now has been my quest.
