Define “belief.” Some belief aims at truth whereas some belief does not. Maybe “true” belief aims at truth, but then the statement is redundant.
I would define belief as a judgment (no matter how frivilous) that one makes concerning anything. The strength of a belief may vary, but our beliefs are what we decide to think about what we perceive. We determine when and how they change depending upon a variety of factors.
