    Without number

Since Mars has a very thin atmosphere, you can really see the Milky Way and the insane number of stars that exist just within our own galaxy.

When the rover zooms in and you see these tight clusters of stars, you have to remember that our nearest star is around 25 trillion miles away. The distance between stars is mind-blowing and when you think of the distance between galaxies it is beyond comprehension.

It is amazing that we have developed the ability to view such things in mortality.

Ok, now that you saw that video, check out the next one:

It just blows my mind that we can look out into the vastness of space and see the physical manifestation of God’s limitless faith.

By this we understand that the principle of power, which existed in the bosom of God, by which the worlds were framed, was faith; and that it is by reason of this principle of power, existing in the Deity, that all created things exist—so that all things in heaven, on earth, or under the earth, exist by reason of faith, as it existed in HIM.

The beauty of symbols is that God can use them to teach us what we have the capacity to receive. One will see a shape, another will see a sign, and yet another will understand the elements of eternity.

Keep my eyes open. Give things time. And re-examine my own assumptions now and then. The alternative is to not pay attention. Insist on final answers now. And never re-examine my own assumptions. Either choice on these three points has consequences in life. - Kevin Christensen
