I created oneClimbs as a place to organize my thoughts and share my observations with anyone who might find the information useful. Though I may speak passionately or convincingly in some of this content, PLEASE don't simply take my word alone on anything. Always seek the truth of all things through study and prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.

I enjoyed this profile of Roman Catholicism from BYU professor of philosophy. This article is pleasantly unbiased and objective while seeming to serve the purpose in educating members of the LDS faith on Catholicism without bashing the religion in any way.

Do we really understand what the scriptures say about the nature of God? Did Joseph Smith’s teachings of God contradict the Book of Mormon, the very book he said he translated by the gift and power of God?

Here is a great video that was produced that presents an account provided by William W. Phelps of what he allegedly heard Joseph Smith tell him about the last dream he had before he was martyred.

So I just recently came across a video proporting to contain audio of a slowed down track of crickets chirping. The result is quite phenomenal but you have to hear it for yourself.

I love this song and especially this particular rendition. @davidkat99 has produced a great video that pulls it all together. Just kick back, watch, listen and remember the simple truths that make existence possible.

This is probably one of the coolest things that I have seen online, it’s an interactive 5000 megapixel image of the entire night sky! With the 360 degree version you can look around the visible galaxy and see out into the universe, it’s a very humbling experience to say the least and a great reminder of the amazing wonder above our heads that we are oblivious to most of the time.

Sometimes I have to laugh at people when they avoid Coca Cola like the plague because of “caffeine” and it’s “addictive qualities” and then chug liters of diet, caffeine free soda. As for me, I’ll stick to water.
